Denis Lotarev was born in Mineralnye Vody in 1983.
In 2003 he graduated from the Grekov Rostov Art College.
He is a diploma winner of the first All-Russian Delphic Games of 2000 in Moscow and those of 2002 in Smolensk.
In 2008 he participated in the first International Exhibition of Calligraphy in St. Petersburg.
At present he is a student of: the Department of Graphics of the Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture; A.S. Andreyev’s workshop; and Pyotr Chobitko’s School of Calligraphy.
